| The Service being conducted by the Reverend Williams of Huyton Church, this year being the last at this location as the Cenotaph Monument is being removed to The Centre of Huyton Shopping Centre. |

| Although it was a very cold and wet day the turnout was exceptional and as usual the Liverpool Vespa Owners had a ride past after the formal ceremony when some 200 scooters drove past draped in many flags of the commonwealth which was a wonderful tribute to those who paid the ultimate price in making our country safe. |
